Balloon Modelling for a Vibrant Community Fun Day at Caribfest in Hadley, Telford.
Last week, we had the incredible opportunity to be a part of Caribfest at Hadley Learning Community in Telford, an event organised by the Telford African and Afro-Caribbean Resource Centre (TAARC). TAARC is known for hosting a variety of enriching events throughout the year, including the International Women’s Day celebration in March, Windrush Day in June, the outdoor Community Family Fun Day in July, Black History Month activities in October, and festive Christmas celebrations in December.
Caribfest was a true celebration of African and Caribbean culture, featuring the best in food, music, dance, and entertainment for the whole family. The vibrant atmosphere was infectious, and it was a joy to see so many people coming together to celebrate and enjoy the rich cultural heritage.
We were thrilled to be invited once again to provide balloon modelling at this fantastic event. Amanda, our talented balloon artist, had a wonderfully busy day creating a myriad of balloon designs for the children. From colourful animals to intricate shapes, each balloon creation brought smiles and excitement to the young attendees. The joy on their faces was truly heartwarming and made all the effort worthwhile.
The lively music and energetic dance performances added to the festive atmosphere, making it a day to remember. The aroma of delicious African and Caribbean cuisine wafting through the air was irresistible, and it was clear that everyone was having a fantastic time.
We are incredibly grateful to TAARC for booking us again and allowing us to be a part of such a special event. Their dedication to celebrating and promoting African and Caribbean culture is truly commendable, and we are honoured to contribute to their efforts.
